Project in Development: Antelope Solar Farm

Located in Los Angeles County, California, this 20 MW photovoltaic (PV) system will contribute to the creation of more than 500 full-time equivalent employee years. Upon completion it will provide clean and renewable energy, enough to power approximately 5,000 homes.

Project in Development: Orion Solar

The 20 MW Orion Solar Project will generate emission-free solar power that has been contracted with Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). It will generate $9.4 million in sales and use tax revenue for the County. When the project is under construction in 2013, it will create an estimated $7.6 million in county sales and use tax revenue.

Project in Development: Adobe Solar

The 20 MWac solar (PV) system will create approximately 80 construction jobs in Kern County, CA, as well as generate approximately $1.3 million in property tax revenue for the county. Upon completion it will provide clean and renewable energy, enough to power approximately 5,000 homes. The system is scheduled to be in operation by the end of 2013.

Project in Development: Regulus Solar

A 75 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) system in Kern County, California, Regulus Solar will provide clean and renewable energy, enough to power approximately 15,000 homes.  SunEdison will be preserving an equal acreage of comparable farmland for every acre of solar. There will be approximately 170 to 180 peak construction jobs created by the project.

Project in Development: Tucson Solar

The Tucson Solar project will be 25-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) system in Pima County, AZ. Located on a 305-acre site owned by Tucson Water, the project will create 250 – 300 jobs during construction. Tucson Solar will generate emission-free solar power that will be sold to Tucson Electric Power (TEP) under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
