Staples, Inc.
Installation Type:
Multiple roof and ground mounted installations
Size: Over 1.1 MW
Installation Date: June 2006
Project Overview:
Staples is firmly committed to reducing the effects of the organization's energy use on the climate and the environment. They also have to ensure that the steps taken are financially viable. Solar ownership historically was not something Staples considered due to its complexity and high costs. SunEdison's service model enabled Staples to roll out a national solar energy program that both reduced their costs and met their environmental objectives.

Customer Testimonial:
"SunEdison's service model has been a true win-win for Staples - no capital expenses, no operating expenses, and no hassles. We're lowering our energy costs even as we reduce our carbon emissions. It is definitely a great way to go solar."
