Governor Ritter Dedicates SunEdison's Colorado Operations Center |

Denver Metro Office to Support Southwest Operations
DENVER, CO (September 8, 2008) - SunEdison, North America's largest solar energy services provider, today celebrated the opening of the company's newest offices in Westminster, near Denver.
Governor Bill Ritter joined SunEdison founder Jigar Shah to dedicate the company's Colorado operations center.
The Denver Metro office will serve as operations center for regulatory affairs and for solar system program delivery, operations and asset management in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and other states.
"Colorado is leading the way in the 'New Energy Economy'. Our state is home to a growing renewable energy workforce and is attracting innovative businesses such as SunEdison," said Governor Ritter. "When the nation thinks about how we can diversify our energy portfolio, they increasingly think of solar and look to Colorado."

At the event celebrating the office opening and Colorado's leadership, the Governor and other dignitaries reviewed the City Tour for Solar exhibit, an interactive educational display to teach the public and provide practical tools for officials to deploy solar power.
