SunEdison Names Carlos Domenech Chief Financial Officer |

Former NBC and GE (NYSE: GE) Executive to Help Guide SunEdison's Strategic Growth
BELTSVILLE, MD (September 12, 2007)- SunEdison, North America's largest solar energy services provider, today announced that Carlos Domenech, 37, has been named Chief Financial Officer for the company. Based in Beltsville, Domenech will oversee all financial, human resources and information functions for the company and will report directly to CEO Thomas (Tom) Rainwater.
Domenech previously served as CFO at Universal Pictures' International Entertainment, where he led its integration with NBC. He managed financial reporting across 25 countries and played an essential role in the growth of the company. Domenech spent 14 years with GE, where he served in a variety of global executive roles, including CFO of GE Healthcare's EMEA Service.
SunEdison's current CFO and board member, Brian Robertson, will assume the role of President, overseeing business development, acquisitions and corporate development activities.

Domenech has a B. S. in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He is a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff.
