Carlos Domenech, President of SunEdison
(& Executive VP of MEMC)
Carlos Domenech is globally responsible for solar energy systems and services. As President of SunEdison and Executive Vice President of MEMC, Domenech oversees all global operations including financial, sales, marketing and human resources for SunEdison. Domenech provides operational guidance and leadership within the SunEdison and MEMC executive teams. He works closely with world-class partners, including leading venture capital firms and investment banks to create innovative programs that have transformed SunEdison into a global leader in solar energy services.

Prior to joining SunEdison, Domenech served as CFO at Universal Pictures' International Entertainment, where he led its integration with NBC.

Domenech has a BS in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He is a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff.
Anthony Rabb, Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Anthony Rabb is responsible for shaping and execute SunEdison’s financial strategy, financial plan, financial reporting and financial operations.

He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance for Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, a position he held since 2005. He has over 20 years of experience with manufacturing, financial services, and service companies in North America, Europe and Asia.

Rabb is a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program and Executive Financial Leadership Program and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.
Nelu Mihai, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Mihai is a network, software and systems hardware expert with 25 years of experience in executive technical management, general management and strategic business development.

Most recently he was Vice President of Engineering at solar microinverter systems leader Enphase, where his team developed a new generation of commercially viable systems with lower cost, and higher efficiency and reliability.

Mihai holds an MS from the University of Bucharest and a PH.D from CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
Brian Jacolick, SVP of Global Business Development
& M&A
As Senior VP of Global Business Development and M&A, Brian Jacolick works to expand the benefits of solar to organizations across the globe.

Jacolick was formerly the Vice President of Sales, and led the development and deployment of SunEdison's, multi-installation solar programs for marquee organizations including Kohl's, Staples, Wal-Mart, Walgreens and the State of California. Prior to joining SunEdison, Jacolick was CEO of New Vision Technologies (NVT), which he cofounded in 2002.

Jacolick holds a BS in Finance from Missouri State University.
Attila Toth, Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Attila Toth oversees strategic market development, product management, government and regulatory affairs, branding and marketing communications at SunEdison.

Prior to joining SunEdison, Toth was a senior strategy advisor at McKinsey & Co. where he advised Fortune 500 companies on business-to-business sales and marketing strategy in the energy and technology sectors.

He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
Mark Mendenhall, GM, North America
As GM of North America, Mark Mendenhall oversees all SunEdison financial and operational performance and teams throughout the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining SunEdison, Mendenhall was President/GM of Elo TouchSystems, where he led the tripling of the business in six years.

Mendenhall is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley where he was awarded a degree in Physics/Electronics and is a Regents and Alumni Scholar.
Pancho Perez, GM, Europe & MENA
As General Manager for SunEdison in Europe and MENA, Pancho Pérez oversees and directs all business development activities and is responsible for all commercial, operational and financial performance and deployment teams throughout Europe, Middle East and North Africa markets.
Pashu Gopalan, GM, India
As GM of Indian Operations, Pashu is responsible for building SunEdison’s solar energy services business in India, SAARC, South East Asian region and Australia.

He was a lead member of the team that led the acquisition of SunEdison by MEMC in 2009.

Gopalan has an M.S in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from Stanford University.
Charles Chan, GM, China
As General Manager of China, Charles Chan is responsible for all financial and operational performance, as well as the growth of the MEMC semiconductor and solar materials business.

Prior to MEMC, Chan had an extensive leadership career. He has served as President for Silterra – USA, and Vice President for Huahong International.

Chan earned his PhD, Masters and Bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas – Arlington. He is the holder of 23 US Patents related to memory device technology.
Dong Hun Lee, GM, Korea
Donghun Lee is responsible for overall business development in Korea. As GM he also oversees and directs for all commercial, financial, and O&M initiatives. Lee also acts as Sr. Advisor to the CEO of MEMC.

During 30+ years of work at Samsung, Lee fulfilled a variety of global executive roles, including overall management of Samsung Electronics Singapore.

Lee graduated from Kyunghee University in Korea with a Bachelor of Economics.
Jihun Kim, GM, Japan
As a GM of SunEdison Japan, Jihun Kim is responsible for all of SunEdison’s business development activities in Japan.

Prior to joining SunEdison, Kim was CEO of OSolar Ltd., a PV engineering company that he formed as a result of a management buyout from Conergy AG while he was a CEO of Conergy Korea.

Kim graduated from Yonsei University in Korea with a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering.
Kam Mofid, GM for Global Residential & Small Systems
Kam Mofid is responsible for developing SunEdison's global presence in the growing small systems segment.

He was formerly President of Mainstream Energy, the parent company of REC Solar and AEE Solar. Kam has served in key leadership positions in major global industrial, aerospace, and automotive firms.

Mofid holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a M.Sc. degree in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, and a M.Sc. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology’s school of Industrial & Systems Engineering.
Kevin Lapidus, Senior VP, Legal & Government Affairs
Mr. Lapidus manages the global SunEdison legal group, where he is responsible for all SunEdison legal matters, including project development and project finance transactions, as well as corporate compliance items. Mr. Lapidus also leads the global SunEdison government affairs group, where he is responsible for market development, regulatory and government policy initiatives.

Mr. Lapidus was previously the SVP and General Counsel of two other technology companies, and for six years was on the board of directors of the Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association (WMACCA), including serving as its president for one year.

Mr. Lapidus earned his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, summa cum laude, and earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, cum laude. 

Public Utilities Fortnightly magazine named Kevin Lapidus its top 2011 Utility Attorney of the Year for International Project Development and M/A.

Vinayak Gupta, Senior VP of Global Operations
As SVP of Global Operations, Vinayak Gupta drives standard process development, oversees strategic sourcing, and leads the development of global operational standards for installation and inventory management.

Formerly in a supply chain management role with MEMC, he has served in several leadership roles including Sr. Director of Operations for NetLogic Microsystems and Operations Director for Cypress Semiconductor.

Gupta holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University.
Kevin Cunningham, Vice President
Kevin Cunningham is responsible for diligence and integration of Sun Edison’s acquisitions, including FRV.

Cunningham was the CFO for Sun Edison from September 2008 until
June 2011.

Cunningham has held senior global finance roles in General Electric
and is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
Per Lindved Madsen, VP of Global Human Resources
In his role as VP of Global Human Resources, Per Madsen is responsible for attracting, retaining and developing a world-class workforce while building an engaging and performance-driven culture.

Madsen joined SunEdison from Mainstream Energy where he held the role as VP of HR. He has spent the last 10 years in various strategic HR roles with IBM and the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.

He holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and a MS in Economics and Human Resources, also form Copenhagen Business School.
Tim Derrick, VP of Global Services
As VP of Global Services, Tim Derrick oversees SunEdison's global project portfolio and SunEdison's expansion into new energy services beyond solar.

Derrick was previously the CEO and Co-Founder of Axio Power, which was acquired by SunEdison in June 2011.

He holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Isaac Fehrenbach, VP of Business Development
& Strategy
As VP of Business Development and Strategy, Isaac Fehrenbach will help drive the creation of new and innovative ways for SunEdison to further differentiate itself across the solar energy value chain.

Prior to SunEdison, Isaac was an Associate Partner at Greylock Partners since 2003; where he led the firm’s cleantech and semiconductor practice.

Isaac earned a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
